Joseph Harris and Kathleen Murray are partners in life, love, and business. In 2013 they opened Cucina Verona Ristorante, which specializes in Regional Italian and Northern Californian Cuisine, in Historic Downtown Fort Bragg, CA and has become a local culinary institution popular with locals and visitors alike. Their shared love and passion for Italian food, film, wine, pottery, and culture lead them to open Cucina Mercato in 2019, which specializes in imported Italian Organic Pasta , Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Calabrian Chili, Sea Salts and Seasonings, Specialty Balsamic and Wine Vinegars, and Holiday treats like Panettone, Biscotti, Fruit Jellies, Pizzelles, and Gift Basket Services. Joe and Kathleen have travelled through Italy together, making lifelong friendships and connections with artisans, producers, farmers, ceramicists and wine makers whose products they are proud to feature at Cucina Mercato and whose livelihoods the Cucina Mercato supports.

The brick and mortar location at 353 N. Franklin Street in Fort Bragg, CA, has a Gelato Counter featuring Dolce Villa Italian Gelato, Espresso Drinks made with locally roasted Thanksgiving Coffee, Fresh Cannoli and Cookies, Imported Italian Wines, and Fine Italian Meats like Mortadella and Porchetta.

Cucina Mercato is open online 24/7 and at our brick and mortar at 353 N Franklin Street  uesday through Sunday, 11-5 P.M. We ship all over the Continental United States.
