It takes its name from Cerignola, an Apulian town in southern part of Italy, is an olive with a delicate taste and fleshy pulp, but the most striking thing is its size which makes it perhaps the largest olive in the world. With a savoury, pulpy and crunchy flavour, they can be served as snack on its own, or paired up with cheeses for appetizers, or in the preparation of cocktails.
