Italian Red Wine Vinegar from Tuscany
To produce the Volpaia Red Wine Vinegar, only the finest wines from the medieval Chianti village of Castello di Volpaia in Tuscany are carefully selected. These wines are then transformed into acetic acid through the "truciolo" percolation method and aged in oak and chestnut barrels for 10-12 months. This results in a full-bodied and well-rounded condiment that enhances the flavors of salads, meats, and berries. The vinegar may contain light sediment in the bottle, which indicates its quality and does not affect its taste.
