Sarubbi Peperoncini Calabresi Interi is a braid of whole dried Calabrian hot chili peppers, 70 g (2.47 oz), tied by their stems the way Calabrian families hang them to dry. The only ingredient is dried hot chili peppers. Hang the braid in the kitchen and break off a pepper when you need one: crush it into olive oil with garlic for spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino, or into tomato sauce, beans or greens. Calabrian chilies are hot, so use a little at a time.
